Learning outcomes
On completion of this course delegates will have a good understanding of:
- The Equality Act 2010 in relation to disability
- Clues to help recognise and identify people with disabilities
- The medical and social model of disability
- How to remove barriers and suggest practical ways to do this in your own organisation
- Feel more professional in situations involving disabled people
- Be able to encourage good practice within your organisation
