We can train your staff, in the comfort of your venue, on any of our highly regarded courses.  We've successfully travelled and trained all over the UK, from Belfast (Queen's Film Theatre), to London (Poplar HARCA Housing), from Glasgow (Barratt Homes), to Bristol (Ethical Property Company).

In February 2019 we ran Adult Mental Health First Aid for The Mind Map Liverpool, with delegates from restaurants across Liverpool and Manchester, with 100% positive feedback.  We are pleased that n-compass advocacy, so rate our training, that they have booked us for the second time to run their Adult MHFA course.

So good! very accessible, Mickey ensured nobody would feel uncomfortable or upset and covered a range of subjects in an informative + engaging way and allowed everyone to contribute.

Mental Health First Aid (Adult)

A two day Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course in central Manchester - Oldham Street, M4 1LE - on the 15-16th May 2019. Both days run from 0900-1700 and drinks and refreshments are provided.

We ensure a high quality learning experience by using two teaching/training qualified and supportive tutors, with a comprehensive introduction to mental health issues and how to support someone in a mental health crisis.

Adult MHFA Liverpool February 2019

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course which teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

MHFA won’t teach you to be a therapist, but it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis – and even potentially stop a crisis from happening.

You’ll learn to recognise warning signs of mental ill health, and develop the skills and confidence to approach and support someone while keeping yourself safe.

You’ll also learn how to empower someone to access the support they might need for recovery or successful management of symptoms. This could include self-help books or websites, accessing therapy services through their GP, their school or place of work, online self-referral, support groups, and more.

What’s more, you’ll gain an understanding of how to support positive wellbeing and tackle stigma in the world around you.
